One of my favorite stops and lots of really good roads in the area as you guys that visit already know.

Noticed a bunch of troopers a few weeks ago, girls at Riverplace said they were weighing trucks because the bridge(Rt. 70)
has been deemed 'unsafe'. While they're in the area they aren't just sittin' around,I saw two cars pulled over while I was eating lunch.
I have been there twice since then and haven't seen any more troopers but they say the plan is to close the bridge completely the first of the year,
with no temporary bridge planned. It will be closed at least a year. This would be devastating to that restaurant and I would hate to see it go.
They are planning a town meeting the first week of Nov. to try to stop it.

On a positive note... It was a beautiful day to ride. Rode past Sneedville down 66 to Rogersville and back up 31 to Sneedville on to 70 back to Jonesville.
Good roads, good weather, awesome scenery and no traffic. cooldude
