I like the bike...The apes  Undecided ....I see'em all the time around here and the rider always looks like he thinks he's so cool when in fact he just looks silly.

Very unique bike.

One thing I don't get is the mis-matched size between the front tire and fender.
Looks like the guy had a too big of fender and too small of tire laying around and just slapped them on the bike.  Rear looks better.

Nothing I'd do but, you know, to each his own!

It's a combination of things......It's an HDR image.,  The most widely used software to create HDR is Photomatix.   (s)... 4 different exposures combined with Photomatix them a bit of after processing.   See my website for more info and lots more images...

Part of that is the angle of the shot.  The other part is that, on the springers, the fender is attached to the stationary legs so there has to be room for the movement of the tire on the sprung arms.  A lot of modern forks have the fender on the same mounting as the wheel so the clearance stays the same.
