My brother Bill’s memorial service was Thursday, then Sunday my stepfather Ernie Price passed away. My wife Melody and my kids have provided Ernie with 24 hour care since my Mom passed away in September of 2005. We thought we were losing him more than once but with the help of God and the prayers of friends he was always able to pull through. Not so this time.
My Dad, who was a great father passed away when I was 19. Mom met and married Ernie a few years later. Our family was greatly blessed when Ernie became a part of it. He is the only grandfather on my side my three oldest kids have known and the only one my oldest son Josh can remember.
He passed in his sleep Sunday morning and will be greatly missed by us all. If you’re so inclined prayers for Ernie, my wife Melody and my kids would be greatly appreciated.
