Constipation Cure

If you are bothered by occasional or frequent constipation, look in the mirror and repeat the following phrase three times in succession when symptoms occur:

"My financial and personal well being are totally in the hands of...

Barack Obama,
Joe Biden,
Harry Reid,
Nancy Pelosi,
Tim Geithner,
Rahm Emmanual,
Barney Frank and
Chris Dodd

If that doesn't scare the crap out of you, then you are probably
destined to be backed up for the rest of your life.

There is  no need to thank me for this advice.  I'm just doing a public service.

You are probably missing the 62 percent approval rating.  Best prez to come along in a long time.  Makes me realize that Bush had his heart in the right place... just too stupid to be president and too weak to stop from being run over by Cheney and the neocons.

Sorry, Mr. Junior... no offense intended... just pushing buttons on this new board... spelling not an issue as long as I can understand... I live in Singapore where there is a lot of interesting spellings.  You could check my history from #2345 onwards and see that I have never actually been in chat.

When I think of Geo Bush, I don’t really have great thoughts.  When I think of Mr. Obomination, all I think of is; how in the hell are my grandkids going to pay for this!  It’s really sad to see America go so far into debt just to make a few people rich.  When I see these bail outs it really pisses me off to think that my wife and I have lived by the rules, paying 100% of our bills and never relying on any one!  Then some ass hole buys what ever they want, charges it all, then gets the government to say, “oh you poor soul, you can’t make ends meet, here’s an extra $1000 to get you through the tough times” then they go out and buy another four wheeler for $4000, and charge the rest!!  While my wife and I don’t have a four-wheeler, they get one, and repeat the whole cycle of dependency!!  Crap, that’s just the tip of the iceberg!  They can’t heat their house all winter, so the government gives them assistance!  What the hell!  Why do they get cheap heat?  I’m paying my fare share, and they get a discount!!

Thanks, now I’m all riled up!!

Mr. Alph... you're pretty good at making stuff up, I must say.  But what does it have to do with reality?  There is no question right now that the world economy is in the tank... and its going to get a lot worse before it gets better.  Possibly the things that are being done right now may not work but its a hell of a lot better than what the Republiclowns have come up with which is nothing... like nothing is happening... like no one is unemployed... like sales throughout the world, never mind the US have fallen through the floor... like no one has lost medical insurance... like everyone will be OK as the whole stinking mess slips down the tubes.

Sorry, Alph... it aint about your made up four wheelers.

What do you mean by “made up”?  If people would be held accountable for their own actions then you wouldn’t need the government to “bail” anyone out!  If wasting trillions of dollars is “made up” to you, and that “no one” has jobs, why is it the governments responsibility to provide you with anything that you can’t do yourself???  By the way, I’m really pissed at the “republiclowns” also!  Yes your right about that!  Geo was a clown about his presidency, and we’ll be paying the price for a long time!!

By the way, I need someone to go riding with today, you open?

Mr. Eagle

It’s like this, I am afraid of the future of America.  The last two times the world had financial problems it took two world wars to get us out of it.  When so many jobs have gone over seas, I don’t believe America has the streighth to fight, and win, another world war.  And Mr. Eagle, that does scare the crap out of me.  Mr. RJ is right.

Just keep believing in the future, somehow, we’ll make it through, I just hope that we stay “America”

Here are the numbers for other presidents:

April approval ratings in first year in office

Bush, 2001 62%
Clinton, 1993 55%
Bush, 1989 58%
Reagan, 1981 67%
Carter, 1977 63%
Nixon, 1969 61%

It doesn't appear that Mr. Obama is doing anything special.

I am NOT afraid for the future of America.  The United States is still the strongest, most powerful country in the world.  That is not going to change for decades at least.

The fact is that the US has overspent, overbought, and gone into huge debt, both in the private and public sectors.  There is a price to pay for this... the US cannot escape the penalties for past actions.

The question is:  How best to spread the hurt and minimize the damage.  Apparently, if you are a Republican, you don't do anything... you let the economy completely tank with no stimulus at all.  Screw unemployment... it adds to the deficit.  Screw emergency medical care... it adds to the deficit.

See, I think that the US still has enough resources to lighten the landing by making installment payments.  You seem to want it to happen all at once... and damn the consequences.  A trillion dollars worth of deficit is just the beginning of catch up for mistakes that were made in the past.  We will all be poorer because of those mistakes and if you think we can somehow escape paying for past transgressions you are sorely mistaken.

What Bush did to this Country is keep us safe for 7 years after the 9/11 attack. If a jury is out, it is out on Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, and all the others seeking to grab power at the expense of our Country's future. Good post RJ, it was right on the money, it scared the crap out of me, I'm skipping my daily portion of Sunsweet Prunes for today.

Hello?  Singapore is not in China... it is about 1000 miles away... an independent country at the southern tip of Malaysia and very pro US.  Good place to do business.  Try Google maps to actually know where it is... about 60 miles north of the equator and 10,000 miles as the crow flies from Houston, Texas.

As to my business:  I have a company that does large scale IT infrastructure project management... things like deploying 7000 PC's across 16 countries... or doing large scale server migrations... or data center buildouts... or merging IT infrastructures during M&A activities... or doing large project consulting.

Web page at:  http://www.catalystprojectsolutions.com

PS:  It is 'Mr.' http://www.herberts.org/wayne

Well, it WAS fun... the recession has put a serious hurt on my business... I manage capital projects and no one is spending capital... hanging on... when it does finally turn (4Q, 2010?) things will be good.

Don't know if it is better than police work or not... too often I have to work with people who know everything... and since I know everything you can see what a difficult problem this can be.   Cool

Seriously, it is a good line of work... Americans and Europeans still make the best project managers... Asian culture, deference to authority and not wanting to lose face make it the rare Asian that can run large projects.  And actually, I've found that ex military do make good project managers... don't know about police... haven't had one... but I suspect it would be the same... ability to organize, control, say no, all the while maintaining a pleasant disposition.

With NObama at the wheel.......your gonna have plenty of 'reminders'.  More like sequels.  The 'terrorists' version of Rocky.  About the time "Rocky 27" comes to a news cast near you.  911 is gonna look like a barbque grill exploded at a family picnic.
NObama is gonna bring 240 'death to America' dyed in the wool terrorists to the mainland.  Oh excuse me that's 239 since I forgot France is gonna take one prisoner off his hands and England is THINKING of taking a couple.  So when they escape, they have lots of hiding places in 48 states, Canada, and Mexico.  Keeping em on an island where IF they escape, where can they go??? is just not an option for NObama.  But common sense is not NObama's strong point. crazy2  He's just got that "charisma", "charm" and "change" that makes him irresistable to America.
Ever wonder.... why is it the rest of the world dont seem to have a problem seeing through this turd dressed in an Armani suit???   They see through him like a piece of glass.  AND they REFUSE to be manipulated.
Then NObama is making it plain, "If you try to do us harm, we will make sure you have a cozy fuzzy feeling every day your 'detained'."  He'll make sure someone reads them a bedtime story every night and tuck em in nice and comfy.  The terrorists are laughing their a$$es off along with the rest of the world......at this 'joke'.
When terrorists are taking out banks, government buildings, police stations.....well basically, when this country becomes Iraq/Afghanistan,(put your favorite 3rd world hellhole country's name here) etc.   Well NObama will be the safest man on earth.  Why???  NObama IS their greatest ally.
Mr. "I'll extend the hand of friendship if you unclench your fist" is gonna get a lot more people killed then ten 911 bombings.
Some one needs to inform the dumb a$$......the man with the clenched fist will beat the hell out of the man extending his hand in friendship EVERY time.
But NObama is gonna find that out soon enough.

This is my temporary country.  I hope to be back in Texas in the future if this recession ever ends and my business can make some money.

Yes, there are good and bad things about Singapore.  The good is that it is extremely clean, a very low crime rate, English as the official language of government, with 4 languages 'officially' spoken, great infrastructure and government services (the streets are swept at my house once a week).  As long as you are not doing drugs or speaking against the government you can do just about anything you want.  And the Asian women are great... but oyu know that.

The downside is political freedom of speech.  You are right... there are no guns here... and in one respect who needs one?  Gun crime is unheard of, assaults and robberies are virtually zero.  OTOH, the government is a benevolent dictatorship and there are penalties for criticizing it.

The wide open freedoms of the US are good and bad.  The bad side is the inability to get anything done with all behind it... like energy or water or many other pressing issues.  Singapore gets these things done.

Are you on the same planet as the rest of us?  Unlike that maroon George Bush, who looked in Putin's eyes and saw his 'soul'... all the while Putin was packing his fudge... and unlike that Maroon Bush who alienated our allies and threatened everyone else, Obama is actually dealing with the problems, making this world safer, making the US safer.

Hey Serk, I love the top sticker, "SECEDE". What is wrong with a divided country. That is the way we started out. 13 independent states, then joined together for the common defense. 13 states legally seceded in 1860 & 61 and were independent until they formed a confederation for the common defense. Looks like a good way for us southernors and anyone else that wants to join us to get out from under the trillions of dollars of debt that our un-representing representatives have created. Let the DC politicians inherit the debt, they created the mess to begin with. We started out as a free market society, where if a business fails, oh well, tough luck, which has become more and more a collectivist society, where huge corporations and the Federal Reserve rule the roost.

Secession now for the future of our offspring.
