I had said a while ago I would get some pictures of the memorial that was erected for my fallen friends on that tragic day. Well I was by there this weekend with Queenbee so I had to stop.  :'(

Mistrial. But he is still in jail with a one million dollar bond as they are going to try him again. Long story but proscuting attorney is not done with him yet.

Here in MI, at Cass City, ABATE of MI Region 7 bought Evergreen Park that was rundown and delapidated recreational vehicle park and has completely changed it around.

I is now one of the nicest places to visit in Michigans Thumb Area. I lies along the Cass River and they have over the years to build several pavillions, algae ponds to clean waste water so it does not pollute the Cass River.

It is now a premier venue for sports activities, outdoor music festivals and of course deer hunters during the mateing season or Rut.

But several weeks ago they had a granite Memorial erected in memory of all the bikers that have died due to traffic and deer/bike collisions. They are planning to plant at least one tree for every motorcyclist that had passed away in that county. Two weeks ago they raised near eight grand for the memorial and almost twenty grand for a childrens charity; all in one weekend.

It's sad when a group of good people are reduced to a memorial.  What else can you do?

Thanks for sharing that Memorial to your friends. It's a shame that the dirt bag that took them from you and others who loved them is still around, while all you have left are memories. Cry

May they all rest in peace! angel

It's very sad for me to ride my bike up to it, got to fight the tears when I stand there looking at it.

Sorry for your loss, glad for a heartfelt memorial that may make others stop and think.

I hope it does.

Chuck,

Is this all one memorial or are they in different places?  Where is it located?.
