After every loss,of which there are many,he acts like its no big deal.He says well its a long season,we have some things to work on,we didnt get the ball down field like we needed to,etc. The season is half over.he's overpaid, doesnt have that fire and burning desire to win at least he doesnt show it say it or play it.1995 was last superbowl and its been years since Dallas was a serious contender or likely to be in the playoffs. It makes me mad.it would seem jones being a business man would know his team is worth more if its winning.

So, what quarterback would you have playing for the Dallas Cowboys?     Undecided

They have a stretch of games against teams even worse than they are.  If they lose 2 or 3 of those games, then the season's done and it's time to see if McGee can do anything.  If he can't, then get rid of Romo for high draft picks and go for Andrew Luck, Landry Jones or another high rated qb in the draft and get back on track.  Look at the Bengals and Andy Dalton.  Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton.  Would we be any worse off with a rookie QB?  Would we have 4 losses?  Probably.  But at least there would be a future.

Tony Romo is Danny White - good but not good enough.  And he can't punt.

Yup.  He rides pretty well for 3/4 of the trip, then he repeatedly drops the bike as he nears the destination.

It's a team game. One player doesn't win a game or lose a game. Look at Dan Marino and all the records he set. He never won a Super Bowl. Warren Moon had a lot of success in the NFL and never won a Super Bowl. It took John Elway nearly all of his career to win a Super Bowl with Denver. My view is that this Dallas Cowboys team is not as talented as some of the others in the past. Put a rookie quarterback in place of Romo and it might be 5 years before you see any results. The coach has to bear some responsibility with his play calling as well. Like I said, it's a team game and they all have to play better if they are to win. My 2 cents.....worth what you paid for it.     Smiley

This is true, Romo did not cause the other team to score 41 points. (I guess, I got disgusted and quit watching midway through the 2nd quater)

But you know for 6million a year (or whatever he's making now) he should be better even if the rest of the team is not that good.

Jones and his boy toys (Garrett, Romo) do no have the leadership characteristics to lead a team

As long as jones picks guys like romo, and parcells was against it,then dallas will always be in the losing season bracket.I guess i will have to follow the texans or someone else.I cant stand watching the team i have been a fan of lose because of an owners stupidity and ego.
