First I want to say THANK YOU !!!! To everyone who has answered my questions in the last week so far you all have been wonderfull!!!!!! I made the wood adapter for the Jack and it works GREAT!!! cost $4.75. Any way I bought some hwy pegs and was wondering how, if at all is there something I can put under the part that attaches to the bar to make it grip better I have cranked them as hard as I care to and they still move. I have them on the lower 1 1/4 inch diagonal  bar that goes to the engine (short legs). Loc tite..rubber padding...???

I'd try Velcro,,, one side on bar, the other side inside the mount clamp.

You can drill a hole in the clamp into the crash bar when you have them in the position you want them and put a metal screw of the proper size through the clamp and into the crash bar.  Hope this helps   cooldude hoser

Not $4.75 cheap, but check out "MICK-O-PEGS".

+1  cooldude After I got the clamp in the right place, I drilled and line tapped the clamp and crash bar  1/4 - 20 and installed a SS button head screw into both. Problem solved! Smiley
