A work friend has one and it looks Awesome! Runs like a raped ape too. I did not take it for a ride, I have a bad shoulder, but I will soon. Does not look as good as the Valk and it is a twin, but it is pretty and powerful.

It is an interesting looking bike.  We sat on one and found the bars too far forward for our comfort.  Never ridden one.  It is said to be very fast.  Heard it described as a VRod motor only more displacement.  There is plenty of info over on m109riders.com.

We trudge on.

Powerful yes.

But with the engine design that has more than one pin the rods are swung from lies the problem.

As long as you don't modify the exhaust it will sound fine.

But if you open her up a bit they sound like crap.

Single Pin Crank of a Harley makes it vibrate, but sound so good is the single pin crank and the 2 big valves per cylinder.

A lot of Japanese bikes have a single pin crank, Honda 1300, Vulcan 1600, Yamaha Star, but the M109 does not.

So if you want it stock it will rock, put pipes on it and you won't like it.

Agreed with Trudge & Al.
Lot's of 'em around here, fast as lightning, look great, & sound like poop with most aftermarket pipes. Sat on a couple & the lean forward angle is not right for me. Had heard they were having differential problems at first, don't know if it's been fixed or not.
Thumbs up on the looks & performance of the '9 but........ still missing some cylinders!  Grin Grin

Some of the guys that show up at Bike Night in Royal Oak have them...  Several of them TOTALLY tricked out- nice bikes, but straight line only... Sh^&*y turning radius and no ground clearance..... no good in the twisties.... so alot of Bar Hoppers like em... I like the looks...

And most of the guys around here are afraid to open em up!..... so I don't know if they can take a Valk.... none of em would try very hard!!!   Wink

Yes they will take a Valk. They are just a tick or two slower than the Triumph Rocket 3. That one I know first hand!
