The Pirates are learning fast.  They attack a ship (US , French, Italian, Etc.) get taken prisoner, get sent to that country - get their Lawyer to defend them as a "Victim" and they get a free ticket out of that he## hole called Somalia.  May spend a few months or years in jail but still better that a life in Somalia.  Pretty smart if you ask me.
