The beatings will continue until morale improves

Toys for Tots Abilene, KS Said to be one of the nicest toys for tots runs in the area.  I have never been but am planning on rolling over there for this one.

November 13, 2:00 at Alco Store on Buckeye.  (get off I-70 @ exit 275, go south 2-3 blocks, look to the  left.)

I have not heard for sure, but I believe that Salina has one the next weekend.  Sadly it is only about 3 miles long and usually sucks, but we will be attending it as well.  (it is not about the ride, it is about the kids...)

I rode the one in Toepicker once, 200 bikes riding in a parade don't interest me, after dodging the once a year types that populate a good portion  the crowd.  Now I just dump the toys at the starting place, and take a ride somewhere else. Be careful!  Hoser

Salina Ks. toys for tots is Nov. 20th.  Line up at Midstate Plaza, at 1pm, roll from there at 2pm.

I hear what you are saying hoser.  We like to take part in them, we think its fun, and we actually have quite a few friends that also do them, so we have a good time.  It is always great when there is a decent one and there are alot of people out watching and waving.

Went to Abilene yesterday with some friends from here in town.  It was a  good time! Abilene has their stuff together.  And while it is not a 100 mile ride, it is still a nice ride and i think we ended up puttin about 75 miles on the bike yesterday.  Looks like it is going to be a nice week as well.

Good job Dalen! Glad you and Shay had a good time and a safe ride. I tend to shy away from these rides as well. I seen to many that end up like Wichita's. Although I almost went for the one yesterday for the Wichita Police Officer that lost his sight.
