Lucked out sat. morning and dropped a real nice doe. I let two walk Sunday morning. I did get to shoot a wolf Sat. even just as dark was closing in on me. I wasn't gonna shoot it but when two more walked out I deciced that three was too many. These wolfs were big  and not hungry looking so they had been taking some wildlife or chickens  for vittals. Going back this weekend to see if I can get aleast one more deer.

Shame on you, killing that doe and going back to look for another. Please let me know if I can get a piece of sausage, deer sausage that is.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

I too would like to offer up some freezer space if you are getting too full up there!!!

Only a minor storage fee of 50%-50%...  2funny

I'll even come pick it up for you, to save you the trip!

Also, Nancy makes some really good deer/pork tamales.  Wink Just wanted to plant that thought in your head...

Up date as an eight point fell to my gun saturday even. Sad part was after  tracking him for 3 to 4 hundred yards thru some of the big thicket finess under brush the blood trail just stopped. We found where he laided down in three places and from the amount of blood he should have never gotten up. I hate losing a wounded animal and I shoot a large caliber rifle 308 with ballistic tip bullets to keep this from happening but I guess he had a strong will the survive.

Up date as of friday even another large doe is in my cooler and Travis ( my little boy) has two does to his credit. He's hunting southwest of Victoria on a really nice lease. They have MLD tags for 24 does so we may get to go cull some in Jan or Feb of next year. My daughter  and her hubby took second  one  that I killed and my sister is getting the two Travis shot so the next uns are going to my freeze. I got one in there already so we won"t go hungry this winter.
