I kinda think the Anus burgers suck. I'll take a Big Mac any day. If I'm looking for a really GOOD burger I hit Five Guys and avoid McD's altogether.

Just say "No" to McRibb.   If it was soo great, it would be a daily menu item.  Me thinks they have to wait til they scrape up enough rib scraps off the floor of other restaurants that serve ribs.

Some years ago I ate a McRibb (two B's because it's not rib at all) and within an hour of consuming it I had a nasty case of SOVED: Sudden Onset Violently Explosive Diarrhea. It felt like my colon was being used like a heavy-bag.

McRibb----> <----My colon

A few years later they brought it back. Consumed by the hype (and hoping that the butt-piss was a coincidence) I tried it again. I confirmed that it was as lackluster as I remembered it and the confirmation was accompanied by the same GI distress. Only this time I actually think I heard the sandwich break the sound barrier on it's trip through mah belly parts...

Never again.

What-A-Burger has been here in Florida (at least in the northwestern panhandle) for decades.  At least as far back as the very early sixtys at least.

McDonalds
BurgerKing
Whataburger
Wendys
Hardys
Cystals
And the like

Just say NO.  Its not real food, take out all the preseratives, artificial chemicals and fillers and you would have a tiny little meatball that was mostly fat.

In a year of NOT eating any fast food you will thank me.  You will feel younger and more energetic, healthier and you will loose at least 5lbs

Just say NO.

I agree.  I eat at one of those a few times a year when I want to eat and be riding in 15 minutes (usually a fish sandwich), other than that, I don't.  I don't frequent any restaurants very much at all.

Not that my diet is any shining example.   I'm from the school of try to eat healthy, but eat what you want, in small amounts.

Edit:  As for free food for Occupiers, I say no .... but to be kind, they should be allowed to dumpster dive (after all that's Green).

Or, "sure you mop up the whole floor and clean the restrooms to my satisfaction, and I'll feed you."

Hardies, best fast food burgers around.  i'll eat mcdonalds when i'm bound up, i ate a mcribb once, that was enough.....  burger king went to their new fries, they suck so i don't eat there anymore unless i have to (father in law likes 'em).  oss and i ate at some place in Maggie Valley that had an excellent hamburger, we both thought it was going to be an expensive place but they were quite reasonable!

Come to Chicago and try a burger at Portillo's. It's the  best 'francihse' burger I've had. Even better than an In And Out Double Double.

Jimmy's hotdogs, down on Polaski, in chicago, those are good hotdogs!!  i like portillo's roast beef and italian sausage combo!!  those are the best!  i've never had 'em, but i hear "Barnies" (a restaurant inside a restaurant) at portillo's in Bloomingdale ILL. serves a good BBQ rib dinner.

alright already! enough of the food!!

For the longest time I've been saying that the White Plains area in NY needs a really good burger place.  Now there are 5.  Went to 5 Guys and it was packed.  Aaaand, every table in there was a table for two with folks standing next to the ones where the people were finishing.  there were 4 of us so getting 2 tables near each other was gonna be impossible so we just left and went to another place called Chesseburger, CheeseBurger.  It was OK.  I'd give it a 7.  It's a chain and they had a section on the menu offering franchises.

Cheesecake Factory has good burgers.   cooldude

loved that clip thanks for posting

Alph I remember that place too but forgot the name,
was a Very good burger but not the best I have had

BRIARS near us makes a great burger,
I think Bigd used to be chef at Squire's down the road many years back
they make em charbroiled but not as big as the ones at Briars

When I was a kid mom would go to the kosher butcher and he would grab a bunch of cow from the freezer room or just take a steak he had that had not sold that day and stick it in the grinder.  Instant chop meat and great burgers
He would give me some and we ate it raw

Never got sick from it once.   Sorry for the hijack you just jogged my rememberer some

As for the protesters. If they harm someone throw the book at em, if they throw crap on a vendor he should be able to beat the crap out of them AND press charges as thats his livelihood

Let em all walk to washington on I95 and see their leader, the streets would be cleaner and the city would smell better

Oh noes patties made by machine!!!  Shocked

Oh who cares. If it's good I eat it. Of all of the things you're exposed to regularly over the course of your life you're gonna worry about a few burgers here and there? Life's too short for that kind of agony.

Some people get way too reactionary over some of this stuff (thanks in part to that worthless POS Morgan Sperlock). I had a friend who once went on a 15 minute rant because he found a six month old McDonald's french-fry under his car seat and it looked just like it did the day it came out of the fry-o-later. "Can you imagine all the preservatives they put in them to keep them looking like that after six months! Blah, blah, blah!" Completely lost on his is the fact that after cooking a french fry is pretty much just starch and oil. Neither one really decomposes like other foods. Whether you make it in your kitchen or in a McD's it's not gonna rot like a piece of meat or other vegetable matter. But he had recently seen "Supersize Me" so everything McDonald's was evil.  Roll Eyes

I make my own burgers. Half pound local home grown custom meat 80/20 , dimple it like a donut, slow cook and NO mashing.  Top it with cheese and assorted, on a nice big decent bun.

So you're telling me that you don't consume ANYTHING that's bad for you? Give us a list of your daily intake (not just food, EVERYTHING) and I can pretty much guarantee that there's something in there that someone else could take issue with.

Its kinda like trying to buy American.  I dont want to buy china crap but theres little choice sometimes.  Id like to say that everything I eat is good nutritious food, but that like buying American vs Chineese.....darned impossible to stay away from some preservatives and chemicals.  But!......Fast food is like a chemical warehouse.....WAY to easy to avoid loads of the stuff so that all the other stuff you eat is really just what you say, no big deal

And yes, our kids are learning that McDees is whats for dinner and an alarming number of young adults still eats at a place like that on a daily basis.

That's a load. Do you eat cold-cuts? Any kind of processed food? Hot dogs? Do you get your hamburger beef only from hormone free farms? Do you get your salad veggies only from pesticide free farms? It's ALL a chemical dumping ground. Even much of what's labeled as "organic" is not as pure as it's advertised to be.

And yes, our kids are learning that McDees is whats for dinner and an alarming number of young adults still eats at a place like that on a daily basis.

The stuff in the freezer section of your supermarket is sometimes the same thing (the SAME, not similar) that you buy in McDonald's. Tyson makes McDonald's Chicken select strips. Gorton's makes their Filet-o-fish. Yet you hear a lot less kvetching about people eating the same thing when they re-heat it in their own oven. Really, give us a list of your intake and let's scrutinize that. Because by throwing up your "sad commentary" remark you've opened the door.

I make my own burgers. Half pound local home grown custom meat 80/20 , dimple it like a donut, slow cook and NO mashing.  Top it with cheese and assorted, on a nice big decent bun.

Don't  need no stinkin' McDonalds.

YESSIR!  grind your own and the taste will be off the charts.

the best burger me and the wife ever had was a little country store out in the Martinsville Il area, they grind their own. when you order a cheeburger they just grab a handful out of the cold case slap it on the grill and don't even bother pattying it up. mmmm, mmm good

Some years ago I ate a McRibb (two B's because it's not rib at all) and within an hour of consuming it I had a nasty case of SOVED: Sudden Onset Violently Explosive Diarrhea. It felt like my colon was being used like a heavy-bag.

McRibb----> <----My colon

Never again.

for a guy that eats bone marrow I didn't think you'd be lacking intestinal fortitude  2funny
