Rose and I were planning on meeting up with one of our low-down, no-good, dirty Harley-riding friends and his lovely girlfriend for the movie, so we'll be there. Not sure if we'll be able to ride as that depends on Rose getting her bike back from the shop. No particular plans for dinner, but I never object to a plate of grub.

Run time on the movie is 2 hours, 5 minutes. Dinner after? It would be a good chance to try out Flips? Happy hour prices all night Thursday. Serve full menu until 2am. ~Jeff

Sorry to anyone I missed on the way in or at Flip's. This theater sold out at 10 am and I didn't know it. Hung out with other disappointed bikers till about 7:20 and went to have a beer at Wilhoite's

Sold out in Plano too! Internet ticket sales has got to have a lot to do with that surprise! Maybe we can get it on blue ray and watch it at Nora and Dave's? ~Jeff

i bought my tickets on the internet yesterday. the movie was good. i hear the book is good, too. i'm borrowing it from a friend, so i'll have a more indepth review soon. also, rose and i got a copy of the TV series version of "Long Way Down" for a wedding gift. it's in 6 episodes, so maybe we could split it up over two viewings. we don't have a great big screen, but we're happy to host a viewing here. if someone has a nicer home theater and wants to host, we'll bring the show!
