When we do wrench parties in kansas, we don't mess around. We even pulled a motor to fix a hydro lock correctly. Apparently Jason-O's bike was repaired after a hydro lock but they failed to notice or chose not to replace one of the cogs that the starter cog connects to to turn the motor over. It wasn't a repair in dire need to fix, but it sounded like "loose bolts rattling" when you would hit the starter. Here are a few pics:

We managed to sweet talk Pharmboy into coming up and helping out with the party!
We will be having another one in the spring so stay tuned and we will post the date when we get into next year.
We managed to work on six bikes in one day and only one was not finished.. The obvious one... is taking an extra day. Pulling the motor out was my first time and it wasn't bad at all. I think we only had 4 hours on getting the motor out and down to the bad cog. Did two final drive inspections. (found one final drive a complete loss), synch'd carbs on all five that left the house, installed progressive fork springs and new bushings/sliders/seals in forks, rebuilt petcock... so.. all in all it was a good time and enjoyed the fellowship with everyone.
