Timing belts... somthing different?

I had someone call me today and said that they bought the gates replacement belts at Napa and they are 1/4" narrower than the stock belts. ?????
Anyone ever see that? I don't have a stock belt to compare it to.

Twas not me. It was a guy who called me. I told him I never saw any difference. I also suggested that he may have been given the wrong belts.

I used the cross reference part numbers listed on this site for the NAPA/Gates belts. The belt was identical in width the the OEM.

I got a call back from him. They gave him the wrong belt. It's all good now.
