there I go again driving down the road doing some heavy thinking, sometimes it hurts

it strikes me that we don't relate to some of our representatives and they can't relate to us because we have no mutual life references. some of them have been pampered from birth, they have no clue when it comes to every day living.
so I'd like to see elected officials at all levels be able to do at least 5 of any of the following;
basic home repair,
fix a hole in dry wall
fix a leaking faucet
unclog a backed up toilet
paint their living room
domestic chores;
prepare a basic meal
do their own laundry (without turning their socks red)
fire up their own lawnmower
dust their own nick knacks
automobile;
pump their own gas
be able to change oil in one of their vehicles
change out a flat tire
wash their car using a 'do it yourself' car wash
general knowledge;
do a basic Internet search using key words or phrases (joe biden thinks its looked up by numbers, I guess like a phone)
know that astronauts traveled to the moon, not mars (debby wasserman schultes)
know that there are 50 states not 57 or 58 (Obama)
know that Africa is a continent, not a country (g.w. bush)
know how much a gallon of milk is in their district
be able to point out Afghanistan on a world map (ron wyden of orygun was asked to point out a country in common usage in the news and couldn't do so, said he didn't have his glasses)
the ability to do their own common tasks would bring much credibility to their candidacy, this is why most people relate more to politicians that came from humble beginnings (like Herman Cain)
just thinking out loud, it'll never happen but I can dream can't I?
