I'm thinking about purchasing a set of ceramic and poweder coated (black) TBR 6 into 6 exhaust.
Do these need any special hardware? Mounting brackets/Exhaust hangers?
Any major concerns about the powder coating?
They look to be in good shape, so I'm just putting the question to the braintrust?
All replys appreciated.
Posted this on the General board earlier.

Thanks,

Mark

I had my Cobra 6 X 6 Drag pipes ceramic coated completely black and they look great. I was told that powder coating was not the way to go because of the heat on the exhaust pipes. You said ceramic and powder coated so which one is it? Just want to know......      coolsmiley

Apparently both the headers (in and out) have been ceramic coated and the exterior of the exhaust has been powder coated.

I've heard that this is the way to go also, so...here I go.

Anybody wanna buy a set of exhausts, piggies cut, with truck stacks? Smiley

You do not need any special brackets or hardware.  Because they have a long slot on their bracket, they bolt easily to the stock hangers.

I need stacks for the glass pack mod I'm gearing up for, but wouldn't expect you to break up the set.  I'll just get some new ones.

Mark, You may want to keep those pipes for a while, this stuff is getting harder to come buy. You will always be able to sell clean Valk pipes and truck stacks. I had the TBR and really liked the look, and the sound and the HP. I switched back to truck stacks as the TBR didn't look right with bags on.(IMHO) They did not come back far enough. /color]
