This is a reminder that the cancellation date for your room is May 15th... if for some reason you can't make the ride and have already reserved a room now is the time to cancel, otherwise you'll be charged with the room...the ride from the major meeting area will be at the TA truckstop in Wytheville, Va. at this point it is 308 miles to the hotel....this will be the longest riding event in VRCC history as far as I know with that many bikes, we're not going to be in any hurry and we'll stop often enough so that no one is un-comfortable...Punisher and Sweetea will be riding drag to help out anyone with bike problems, if anyone would like to join them that has mechanically skills we would appreciate it...cb radio's will keep us in contact with what is going on during the ride, so if you have a cb radio stay on channel 3 and give ride reports....

Have your bikes in top condition for the ride, good tires and such....we're getting closer to the starting time so if you're still on the fence about making this ride now is the time to decide....we see ya on the road.

Don,

If my IS brakes down, can I borrow one of yours?  Embarrassed
You got sooo many ya'd hardly know its was gone for a couple of days.  Cool
Ya right, big chance! uglystupid2

Just kidding, can't wait to see everyone. Been out on the bike a bit, rode 4 times during the last 2
weeks to get used to be back in the saddle. Everything seems OK now. Did just over 250 miles each day.

See you soon...

I can offer assistance if needed.  My shop is 98 miles out of Chambersburg and 50 miles out of Gettysburg.
I have been known to work on a valk or two.  There is now a tire changer there as well as a full lift and a floor lift as well as any tools needed.  Have access to a trailer.  I will order another set of wheel bearings just to have on hand.  Lots of Valk parts(Just picked up a whole spare engine this weekend) and a set of used avons over there.
So if there is any problems on this end of the ride I'm sure we can get em fixed up and get em home.
