...and now my dealer has one...black and chrome. You know, up close in real life, looks a bit better than the pics. If i had room in the garage, would i MAYBE buy one? Perhaps.

but i have no more room at the Inn........... Grin

I have to agree with you Tim.  Its a cool looking bike.

If I was looking for that type of a motorcycle, I'd seriously consider it!

then yes I'd go with that over Big Dog, or another smaller brand just for the parts dependability alone.
Could be a good platform for customization but I think it will be priced to high. Some will get painted, but they won't really get changed at all.
Although if they stuck a CB750 styled engine in that frame with the headers cut off short and proud then I'd be drooling over one.
The Fury does look nice.

starting price of 12,999......  I think it a great platform for customization and very reasonably priced.  Consider the Victory 8 Ball starts at 14K, 23k to even think about getting into a Big Dog, over 24k to get on a basic OCC.....   Will it sell, i have no idea.   If I wanted a chopper style bike, I would seriously consider it

If it's that stooopid put-put sound the X's have, then forget it. They might run good, but when it comes to a V-twin and it's sound I think I'll stick to either the real thing or maybe a Yamaha.

sorry Tim,
I guess it did get disjointed. I pulled the post since it was reliant on the pics to make sense. Without them it didn't. So I pulled it until I could fix it. Although it now occurs me that our posts no longer make sense to the general public. Oops.
Yeah, I think I've had trouble snatching sharing posts from GOTF before. Not my only problem with them over there over the years though. But that is another story.
The gist of the pics (until I can trick them up here later) is that they were a body very similiar to the Fury, but with the original badboy Honda engine: CB750 SOHC!
