There is a really nice 2001 GL1500CD at Mach 1 Motor Sports in Vallejo, CA, they are asking 6995.00 on consignment.  It has a windshield, soft bags, passenger seat w/backrest.  Black with a custom painted silver streak down the front fender, gas tank and rear fender.  Has 13,000  miles and from the looks of the front and rear brake rotors, it is actual mileage.  It is in need of a front tire, (I should have looked at the date code on the tire----bet it is the original).  The guy selling it can't manage the weight any more and needs something lighter. Just saying.......

Is it a custom stripe?  I thought the later years had the skunk stripe option.  I've never seen silver, only red.

Well maybe it is not a custom stripe, I didn't know about the skunk stripe.  And maybe its white rather than silver....it also has some sort of graphic imbedded in the front fender stripe.  And maybe I hallucinated the whole thing..... Undecided   The picture really does not look as good as the bike actually is....

Yep, and I see you are in Antioch.....we will have to meet for coffee one of these days.

This is the paint scheme I've seen on Blackrams bike.  I don't see it too often though.

There is also a pinstripe on each side of the white skunk stripe. Is there a graphic in the front fender stripe?
