You know the old saying 2tone, "Some people are alive, only because it is illegal to kill them".

If he survives the trials and such..... I'm sure (or would hope) that Bubba takes care of him accordingly when he gets his new housing accomodations..

a  .45 slug is too quick and merciful.....  find some way that takes longer for him to die.   The aunt had the right idea...do to him what he did to  the child.

This piece of crap has no right to exist among people any more.

I share your contempt.  With this current administration our Federal policy towards scum like this will be to adopt the Vermont approach..."RE-EDUCATE and REHABILITATE THEM"!  Re-educate and rehabilitate them so that they can learn to commit atrocities even more heinous than the ones they were "rehabilitated" for in the first place.  Fortunate for these scumbags their "re-education" was nothing like that of our POW's in Vietnam and other theaters around the world.

To steal a line from Dennis Miller..."These are just my thoughts, I could be wrong"!

This situation is at epidemic proportions today. The main reason is because there are no serious consequences for illegal activities. His spree started at 14, and was never dealt with properly. My wife teaches in an elementary school and the tolerance for bad behavior is unbelievable. Of course all this has started with the destruction of the family unit and men not being the leader and moral compass for their children. Very little can be done for or to this wasted life but I fear for other children who are yet to die for the same reasons at the hands of a person as selfish and empty as this shell of a man.

Another question,
what reasoning does an attorney use to justify representing this scumbag and try to get him off?

It actually a little scary to realize that there are people who have so little value for human life that they would actually throw a child onto a concrete floor and then later toss the child out of a moving vehicle on the highway. I just can't get close to understanding that mentality.

This to me is the same as Abortion on demand.  Wheres the outrage for the millions of lives taken this way.  Both are equally heinous crimes in my view.  Abortion as a means of birth controll devalues the worth of humanity.  Punks like this were probably raised  by his grandparents, or at least a single mom.  Never taught right from wrong, or basic respect for anything.  However he was surely taught the world owes him, and how to work the system.  Sadly Hussien has reinforced that type of thinking with his spread the wealth around mantra.  We all know who he wants to take from and give to.  As far as this lowlife, the air we breathe is wasted on him, and he doesnt deserve to take up space among civilized beings.

2Tone, we agree on this. The world would be a better place without slime like this. He should have "tried to escape" from the cop car and "jumped" out the door at oh...about 75 mph.  With luck he may have also been ran over by several cars following them.

There can be no excuses for or tolerance of what this person did. It will always be his fault, it will always be unacceptable, however there are reasons behind his actions. People are not born this way, he has learned, or at least learned to choose, to behave this way.

There was a very enlightening TV series here in New Zealand taking an in depth look at some of New Zealands worst criminals. People who committed unimaginably cruel crimes. I 'acquired' flv copies of many of the episodes and have uploaded them to my MSN profile. If you have an flv player, I encourage you to follow the link below, I have sorted each TV episode into folders. There are many free flv player available for download on the net, just google for them. I use RIVA player download here http://download.cnet.com/Riva-FLV-Player/3000-13632_4-10435953.html?spi=bacf3b90990a6b2b0bafd691544b22ad

Well Scanner, I will shake your hand on this one. cooldude  I am glad we can agree on some things.
This guy needs to be taken out by society, and NOT by some prison inmate.  It is sad to think that criminals will try to kill this guy because they recognize what a terrible crime this is.  And our society feels he has the right to keep living when he took the life of an innocent baby.
A couple weekends ago, I rode by the lake that Susan Smith pushed her car loaded with her own 2 sons into.  They have a very touching memorial to there memory.  I still cannot believe this woman was put in prison for the rest of her life.  When are we going to learn?

I’ve got a trailer hitch on my cycle, I wonder how far I could pull that SOB around by his ankles??  I know I can get from 0 to 60 in about 4 sec.  That would be fun!

Charlie Daniels has a song that has the best solution, IMHO.....

"Take them to the swamp, put them on their knees and tie them to a stump.  Let the rattlers and the bugs and the alligators do the rest"

YMMV.

Actually FM, you do make a good point, latest research seems to show true psycopaths (persons without conscience, as opposed to persons who ignore their conscience) are born that way. The label psycopath is one used coloquially to describe all kinds of deviant behaviour. However the true psycopath is a rare individual. While many persons, like the subject of this thread, show psycopathic behaviour, they are capable of remorse even compassion, therefore are not psycopaths, they choose to behave that way.

A psycopath is not insane though. Even the true 'born this way' psycopath knows his actions are wrong, he just doesn't care, he is incapable of caring.

I know it sounds cliche, but a person's childhood experiences are so important to defining the adult they will become. You can almost garuntee this subject had an horrific childhood. Now many persons experienceing the same things he has gone through as a child would rise above that and become wholesome productive members of society...and many would not. That is the sad truth.

Please don't mistake me for a bleeding heart politically correct liberal 'go easy on the criminals' do-gooder. This guys crime was appalling and his punishment needs to be extreme. What I am trying to say is there are reasons this happened, and until these reasons are dealt with in society, this kind of thing will continue to happen.

Hey guy's, no offence, but why is anyone watching, posting or commenting on this stuff. The nut cases want recognition, which we are giving (me included). Let's get on with life, look at the good things people are doing for each other, rather than the harm.
My 2 cents worth.

That's one of my favorite lines. If there were more "JUSTICE" served for crimes, it would stop.
Jerry Clower used to say "If you don't think punishment would stop crime, it's obvious you ain't never stole a tea cake from my momma, lied about it and got caught."

Puhleeeese!!

Nature rather than Nurture?

It's all B.S.

In all of our lives we come to a crossroads where we go good or bad. It's at that point we make our decision. I grew up poor. So did my better half. She may be the best person in the world, and I know I am the luckiest. WHY? Because we both chose to be. She said I will be this person, and I said so will I, independent of each other. Then we met. From there we have, each hour, each day, endeavoured to be the best we can be, failing, for sure, but still trying.

Anyone that uses the "excuse", whatever it may be, is simply full of S...!

Let's not talk about poor me, let's talk about why not? Why not help someone? why not stand up for what is right, tough as it is? why not say what am I? not what can I get? and then show the world what you are... good! I am so tired of excuses, and no personal repsonsibilty.

My rant.

I agree with most of your rant motorman. This is all (with the very very rare exception) learned behaviour, and these people learn this behaviour from the cradle onward. Many persons rise above their origns...and many do not. So long as we (society) continue to allow children to experience horrors that no person, let alone a child, should experience, so long as we allow children to grow up never knowing what compassion and care is, then many of these children will learn the only person who is important is themselves.

Many, like my wife, are inflicted with unspeakable things as a child, by the very persons who should be nuturing them. And some of these, like my wife, although living with emotional scars, will break the cycle and become fantastic, caring, wonderful parents.

Others though acutally grow comfortable in the cycle of abuse, especially when they have the opportunity to become the abuser.

The point is; if abuse, physical, sexual or emotional never existed in the first place there would be no babies dropped of bridges,... or two year olds put in the tumble dryer and then used to practise WWF moves until they died, or six month olds locked in the chest freezer to teach it a lesson.... (yes my country has more than its share of mind blowing cruelty too) ... The cycle of abuse only gets worse with each revolution.
