Since a Valkyrie is essentially a Norse maiden who chooses and delivers the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valkyriehttp://dolls-n-daggers.com/Valkyrie.html Can anyone explain the dragon references to our F6C motorcycles? I see dragon references on chrome bits and in forum posts but darned if I can't find any connection to a dragon from a Valkyrie.

The reason for calling the Valkyrie the Dragon is the definition of a Dragon.
"*Dragon ;( n.) A legendary fire breathing beast of great size. Renowned for its immense power and ability to fly."
This is why we call the Valkyrie the "Dragon", it just sort of caught on.

If you have ever been stuck in traffic in the summer when the radiator fan came on, you would know.

I've always thought the fairings on Interstates looked like dragons drawn with hoods.

If I had to guess, author, general good guy and prominent member of the forum, Daniel Meyer, has nicknamed his Valkyrie the Dragon. I think it caught on.

Mine is nicknamed "She Dragon." I think the name suits her well for all the reasons stated.
