OK, this months meeting will on the second Saturday, 12/10/11, instead of Thursday.  The initial meeting spot will be on the SW corner of 75 and 380 at the Taco Cabana at 9:30 AM with KSU at 10.  We'll ride to the Valero on 380 and 1385 and pick up anyone that wants to meet there, KSU from there at 10:30.  The ride will end at Cooper's Oldtime BBQ in Fort Worth.  Google Maps has changed their site and I can't copy and paste a URL from their site and make it work, if I can get it figured out I'll add the route later so any Easterners can join in along the way.

There is a good chance I'll be out of town that weekend, but if I'm here, I'm in.

Bing maps seems to work well for what you are wanting to do.

Not for sure if we'll be available, but sounds like a great ride.  Might try to pick ya'll up at 380 and 1385.  Just to make a route suggestion, when you come out to 377 from Friendship, go straight across onto St John Rd.  It rides by some huge horse stables with some nice curvy roads and pop out out on 355 west of Pilot Point.  Obviously unless you plan on picking anyone up in at 377 and 455.

Just noticed the weather for that day.  Right now its expected to be 45-50 degrees, but sunny.  Still gonna be a ride right?

According to my calculations, if we turn right on 2163 and then left on 1580, we'll end up in CUBA!  Cheesy
Wonder how the BBQ is there ?  Evil

They're still looking for the last bunch of bikers that followed MY directions  Roll Eyes

Yes.

I'll look at the map and try to work the suggestion in.

So far the turnout sounds like it will be weak so we can tweak as we ride unless someone speaks up about joining us along the route.

I'll be working in Ft Worth, I'll meet you at the destination. About what time do you think you will make it there?

BWEEP!  BWEEP!

 tickedoff  Emergency notification!   tickedoff

MaryAnn just reminded me that tomorrow is the Father/Daughter Ball in Allen and I have a full day of hauling two princesses around getting haircuts, styled, nails painted (them, not me), trip to the photographer for portraits, fancy smancy dinner, and an evening of dancing.

Embarrassed Is anyone available to step up and lead this ride or do I reschedule for another weekend?   Embarrassed

Sorry gang but my girls come first.

I'd vote to move it out one week, but only because I'm selfish and would be able to make that ride (at this time).

Kinda hard to have a meeting without at least one of the officers.  Just from the replies, it doesn't look like much interest anyway.  Though the early forecast for next Sat is rainy.  Might take her out for a spin anyway and use my heated gloves!

I'm in town and could sure use a ride, but I'm not wild about the forecast.  Although is says sunny and dry, Accuweather on the phone says 33 degrees at 0900, 36 degrees at 1000, 38 degrees at 1100, 42 degrees at 1200.  After that, it's 46, 47, 47, 48, and 47.  Throw a 60 mph wind on top of that and it could be very cold without the proper gear.

But if Tom is going to lead this one...   Evil

Why don't you get a head count of who's available and open it up for suggestions?   Calendars are getting really tight.

I had a chance to ride to Wylie to pick up a Christmas present for the son thats going back to Afganistan, again.  Disco, you were right, as usual.  A bit cool, but I still had a ball riding.  I saw a few riders here and there.  Just before I made it home, a Honda XX Blackbird rode with me for about 6 miles, then we split up.  God knows I needed to get some wind.  Felt outstanding.
