I saw a black standard on a TRAILER being pulled east bound on I-10 in Banning CA today. Shocked
maybe it was heading to a new home?

People think they are Harleys all the time...if they see it on a trailer you'll NEVER convince them it's not!  Cheesy

It could have had a flat tire like when I bought mine and hauled it home.

Sometimes people for reasons they don't have to explain to anyone have to trailer there bike the point being they are still riding when they get to where ever they are going and they are still on a VALKYRIE!!!!! Don't be so quick to judge cooldude

There are all kinds of reasons why someone trailers.    I used to not trailer anywhere....it was undignified......in my older age, my wife has back trouble and poor eyesight.  She still wants to go on our motorcycle trips so most of the time we trailer to a home base and do day rides.    When she can't go I still ride all the way.

I trailer my Valkyrie all over the country.  I do this because I work in construction building retail stores.  this year I went from Columbus Ohio to Temecula Ca to Johnson Creek Wi to Aurora Ohio to Chicago to Albany NY to Locust Grove GA to Louisville KY and than home to Columbus.  Next year back to Atlanta and so on.  In the mean time, I will be spending the ugly weather days in Charleston SC starting December 6.

I see a lot of roads on my bike after I get to my destinations.  Luckily almost all of my travels are paid by others.

Merry Christmas to Everyone out there.

Well, I happen to be a big fan of trailering.  Sorry. I'm old enough, and make enough money that I can do that through the 120 degree days with 3% humidity. Here the temps are  going to wring you out and you can have a dehydration blackout on a 1/2 ton bike at 75mph.
Heater, A/C, wipers, cooler, radio. Other Arizonans know what I mean
I've made my runs and seen the elephant.

I trailered mine this summer, but made sure you couldn't see the engine!  ;-)

I trailerd my bike in 115 degrees in June across the desertfrom Phoenix to Ventura Calif. Then rode up to the Oregon border via coast highway. Let me tell ya, It was a GREAT idea to trailer it and it was real nice coming back to Phoenix too. 115 degree days is like riding in a blast furnace here in Az. Oh, but I forgot........it's a DRY HEAT! LMAO!!!!!  2funny

When I received my Valk... it was in Connecticut.  I trailered it home to Massachusetts and got new rubber.   Thought that was the safest bet.

Just put the pic up for those who wouldn't understand... and cringe... Grin
