I like to ride to sundance square, look at the bikes, donate , and go my own merry way,  don't like doing the parade ,  Smiley

Having a group of valks all parked together would be pretty nice......One year while doing the parade the guy in front of me fell over ,,,twice,, before we got out of downtown and out onto I30,,maybe too many bloody marys or what??  That was the last time I took part of the parade Smiley Wink Was kind off funny scarey now that i think about it, how the booze guzzelers fighters rushed over , stood him up, and started him  you off again..
Paul.

Blamming it on the old  a.a. d. d. again eh.  Roll Eyes

We're gonna try to make it this year.  Never been able to yet.  Not sure if we'll start in Dallas or Ft Worth though.

I'm not sure yet if we'll be in town that day; if we are I'll ride from Dallas and bring the Bloody Mary's.   2funny

Did it once and swore I would never do it again. Just seemed like an accident waiting to happen. I'm not a huge fan of group rides and especially if I haven't ridden with them before. There were several tight butt incidents and I didn't feel like that was the place to be. Great cause and will support  it with prayers for safety. Smiley

Done the Dallas version three times now.  If the weather cooperates, we'll probably try the Fort Worth version this year.

I'm with you, Tubador.  I rode the the big ones in Collin County and Garland a couple of years ago, then a much smaller one last year sometime.  No more big groups for me.  Too many riders who have no clue how to ride in a group and even a few who have no business even riding.  I try to find other ways to support good causes.

I'll be in the Ft. Worth group riding to the start point from Arlington with an old buddy from work and possibly a few other friends. Not a big fan of big group rides, but I've already committed.

Well, turns out we will miss this ride again.  We have a much smaller toy run to our local childrens shelter that same day.

So, the answer seems to be "no".  Will be on a gig that day anyway.

Just wondering.
