Ordered some stuff from Amazon including a pair of John Lennon sunglasses. The box arrived and I unpacked it but somehow missed the sunglasses amongst the packing material. I burned the box and later remembered the sunglasses. When to Amazon's site hoping they were shipped separately. No such luck. Went out and dug into the burn pile, sure enough, there they were.

Damn, I hate when that happens.   Cry

A few years ago went mushroom hunting behind the house. Stepped out of the woods and took my glasses off and hung them on my bib overalls and put my sunglasses on. Went to the garage grabbed some boxes and took them to the burn barrel. Later that evening sat down for dinner and reached for my glasses. No glasses. Retraced my steps, no glasses. Dug around in the burn barrel and there they were. Nothing but chard frames. I guess I didn't need that $ 400.00.   Angry

I've bought so many books and got home to find that I had them already that now I always save the receipt for book buys.  The rememberer wore out long ago.
