I was on Hwy 1 for a few miles back in 1969.  Thanks for sharing pics of that beautiful scenery and your beautiful Valk!

WOW

Your Valk is really sweeet looking. cooldude Very unique individualized paint scheme. A Killer Bee if I ever saw one.

Rode PCH Route #1 years ago on my (gulp) Harley FXE. Pebble Beach, 17 mile drive etc. Still remember it as one of the prettiest rides ever.

Thanks for the great ride report. Cheesy

Never got North of San Fran on a CHiP motor, but did a lot of miles on it in a Cruiser.  Had an unmarked Cuda and used to chase Sport cars, Jag's, MGM's Thunder Chickens, a few Vette's and the like.  Had an area about 22 miles long, if I couldn't catch em in the Cuda, there was Black and White's at the end to stop them.  If that didn't work, the strips always slowed them down real quick.

On my Gold Wing in 86, I did Hwy 1 from Delmar (South of Camp Pendleton)  to Legett, about 750+ miles.     Great ride....  Always planned to do the whole thing again, but only got portions of it.

MGM took me over probably 75% of it on various trips.  Got close to a 100 miles of it in on the Chevy Trike, before the start of a Power Tour.

What a great day and great pic's to capture it. I had hoped to make it to that section of the coast this past summer but it never happened. Only got as far west as Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP's. Maybe 2012.  Smiley

Thanks, beautiful shots!  cooldude
