Well, my summer vacation is over .... 36 weeks since I was laid off and FINALLY found a job !!
Woot-Woot .... Shots of tequila for everyone !!!!

At least I have an idea what it will be like when I retire in a few years  Wink

During the last big Federal shutdown, I was off for 5-6 weeks.   For the first time in my adult life, I had the time and the money to travel and/or do stuff I never had before.  But IF a new budget was passed, I had to be back to work pronto, so I couldn't go anywhere.  It was expected to be resolved in fairly short order, day ofter day, for weeks.  What a waste.  (for the taxpayers too)

I retired last year, and 18 months into it, I have to say I pretty much like it.   Smiley
Flannel PJs aren't just for sleeping anymore.   (I do not wear them to Walmart!!!!)
