Need to have a ct size closest to original rear.  I have a trailer hitch and width is really close.  Need the skinniest ct size that will work. Height should not be a problem. Tired of the 7 k mileage bs on the rear.  Thinking of taking the plunge to the DS.

I have a General Ultimax H P 205-60-16 with the nut cage mod. Some have gone to the 205-65-16 and works fine also with the nut cage mod. Some have found i think like a 190 or 195 60 16. Some are also going to the 200 series M/C specific tire. With your wear issues definitely at least try the D/S. And B T W bad news-ya gots ta buy yer own frappin cookie. 2funny Go to the research on the tech and the general board and enter D/S or car tire into search and you WILL FIND lotsa info on this very subject pro and con. Wink Been tossed around a LOT just in the short time i've been here. uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

Bridgestone makes a Touranza in 195/60-16. It would be 9mm shorter than stock, but its about the thinnest CT you'll find that fits, I think.

I'm on a Continental Vanco 195/65-16, but good luck finding one.  If you do, I highly recommend it.  Mine has over 26,000 miles on it and I'm going for 35,000.

A 195/65-16 would be almost exactly stock; 126.75mm compared to 126mm stock. Not sure about width...

Looks like you can find the vanco in the UK.  Found a Sunny 195/65/16 for $84. I have sunny's on my car don't know if I would put one on the bike though.

The Vanco is not symmetrically siped, but is so neutral it doesn't really matter.  At least not to me.

Wonder how this would compare to the vanco?  A lot cheaper.
