Went to the Honda dealer to drop off my Shadow 750 for a radiator leak and left there with a 2000 Valkyrie w/ 42K miles....  hey I needed a way to get home and it was too good of a deal to pass up.

I am in love!!  This is one magical ride.  For such a beast, it is graceful on the road and easy on the rider.

I called the dealership yesterday and told them they could take their time on the Shadow; i'll pick it up sometime in June....

Waiting for me at work....

Getting used to the driveway....

Pbrain, you need to change your handle.

You chose wisely.

Welcome to our wild and wacky forum.

We occasionally discuss things related to the Valkyrie motorcycle here.

You should spend some time reviewing the site and reading the Shoptalk section.

PS:   I got mine too (thank the Lord for penicillin)    Wink

Pbrain... looking good! You've got a good seat, an OEM windshield (hard to get those
brackets now...) and a couple of desirable bits of bling on there, and most of all, the bike looks
to be in great shape...

Thanks all.

I figured that was the fastest color... it looked fast...  Cool

I'm from VA (Winchester area)....

 Cheesy

For the record::  The original plan was to use the Shadow as my daily commute (like I do now) and the Valk for everything else....  That plan quickly went to sh%#^t the second I hit the road.

I am also addicted to a Black and Chrome Fat Lady.  cooldude It starts out as flirtations, then becomes a torrid affair that makes you grunt, sweat, and become fanatically protective. I still love to go out in the garage to just stare at her, and sometimes run my hands over her sensual curves, while having a rag with magical potions on it in my hands. Smiley

Then, once you take her out into her elements, and let her play and do what she is best at, then nothing else seems to matter, and you then become fickle and uncaring about your previous, two wheeled mistress.  Embarrassed (Wow, is it getting warm in here?)

Anyways pBrain. Welcome, and don't worry, most of us feel the same way as you do. BTW, the Winchester area offers some pretty good riding, no matter which way you go. My son lives down in Chatham, VA, and my other one lived in Christiansburg, VA for four years, so I came up or down through there many times.
