Tebow is awful. You don't deserve to win when you suck for 3.75 quarters of every game. His glaring shortcomings have been masked as of late by terrible opponents (Chicago had that game effectively won twice but shot themselves in the foot) and a defense that's been keeping them within striking distance late in games. It's not Tebow doing all of this by himself, in fact it's largely BECAUSE of him that he needs to pull out these wins. BTW, the Denver kicker hit a 59 yard FG to tie the game and noone's talking about him. The one really good teams the Broncos played with Tebow at QB is the Lions and they DESTROYED the Broncos.
Personally I like the kid too. He seems like the real deal when it comes to the evangelical thing, devout and vocal but not pushy and he's super polite and respectful. I'd certainly rather have him on my team than a sexual predator like Ben Roethlisberger or an cosmically overrated, self-absorbed team-killer like Brett Favre and don't even get me started on who I'd rather my daughter date. But my eyes see what my eyes see and he's just not a good QB.
That said, if he can learn a few things and get better then maybe he can be a decent starter in the NFL. But right now he's been catching break after break. His luch is gonna run out soon.

All he does is win.
Also, basically, he is a rookie.
Good on you Tebow. That last win Sunday was epic.

It's a shame he had almost nothing to do with it.

Anvil, I just looked to see how long you have been around the VRCC. You joined on June 17, 2011 and you have made a combined total of 2,884 post that comes out to almost 16 posts a day. Come on man don't you have a bike to clean/ride/buy? Give it a rest. I know you are living in one of the most liberal states (not sure if you were born there in New Hampshire) but that doesn't mean you need to start your own "Occupy the VRCC" board. Give it a rest some of us don't post things for you to ridicule and debate. Next time you want to post try the short cut just hold down the ALT button and hit the F4 button it is one of the quickest ways you could reply since you do it so often.

Now now.... I personally think your daughter is a bit too young to be dating, but if that's how you guys in New Hampshire do it... just let me know and I can check with Ben and see if he can get a night away from his wife, after football season of course.

First of all, you'd have to shout over the screams of the girl he's sexually assaulting. But for the record I'm NOT interested in having him date my daughter. I think our signals got crossed. Thanks for the offer though.

So could Tebow's "catching break after break" be the result of some devine intervention?

As you can see,(by my post #), I mostly read and move along to the next post on here. If I don't have anything good to say, I don't. With that said, this guy Anvil, always has a comment about EVERYTHING. Mostly in a negative. Not always though. I am a Gator Fan. so I am partial to Tebow. He always gives his all on and off the field. Always seems to give credit to others. Very evident by his post game interviews. Nobody says he is a hero, just a team player. He is a rookie ball player in the pros, but some people seem to think he should be able to walk on the field and conquer all. He is just trying to play his hardest. Lets not forget, he is very young and still learning. How many of us can walk into a job and perfect it right away? Probably none!!! Yep, he will lose many more games in the future, but he can say he tried his hardest. Give the kid a break!!! Ride on

Thanks for the offer though. Well I'm glad your not interested in having him date your daughter.... as I indicated earlier, they are way too young for dating. And since Ben got married, I think he is pretty busy anyhow (I imagine and hope). Plus, it is Football season after all, and I believe Ben usually waits til the off season before he does his socializing. Can I hopefully assume you don't want them to date Brett either?? .... he is way too old, even for football so it seems.

The main thing is that the Packers finally lost today. I was running out of room to stick needles in my Aaron Rogers' Voodoo doll.

The video really needs to be updated. 3 good teams (well okay, Buffalo isn't even good) and three colossal ass-whoopings later you can't say "all he does is win".
Is anyone starting to get it yet?
