That is a German TV show, Bavarian folk music, it runs once a month and it is broadcast live on TV.
The Tables are traditional fest benches, same as you find at the Oktober Fest, I have a few of them.
As for what they were singing; Bavarian Girls are just like they are (rough translation) compared to other girls, referring to that they enjoy life and are always having a good time....(again rough translation).

I'll admit it, I love it! And unlike so many "stars" today, they've actually got some talent.

And... See here for an English translation:

Listening to this now I find it quite creepy but, back when I was stationed in germany and the bier flowed I seem to be able to remember me swaying and enjoying the living h*ll out of it.  Musta been that bier!!!!!!

interesting that this post showed up now. a time you think about the past and family. it brings back wonderful memories of my father playing his accordian (self tought). while it is not my idea of  music that i listen to, it was a time i would give just about anything to have back if just for a little while. ahhh, memories like that seems to bring a smile to my face.

Of course... Can't have a thread about accordion music without at least one example from Mr. Weird Al Yankovic!
