Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes

Pop is still in the ICCU but today he was able to speak so I could understand him

I told him the joke about the pet fish and the mississippi redneck and he replied
destroyed the evidence so I know he can think and process which is great   Also told him the condom on the thumb joke and he laughed and smiled for the first time since 12-3

He still has the pneumonia, staph (they still have NO idea where it is) and docs say he has had some small mini strokes but he is negative on all the other tests  with 40 more days of IV  he may recover from it  We arent out of the woods by any means yet

He also learned going into an MRI with your bridge in gives you a reallllly big headache
I am just glad they found out his heart stents are not the kind that are magnetizable as
if they ripped out of his chest he would be gone in seconds

Hospitals are no place for sick people   He wants out and will likely be going to rehab before christmas

and 2 days ago we all thought he was checkin out any day but it was reactions to meds

keep up the good work

MRI,,, Oh my God.

He is a tough one.

You keep telling him jokes and the Tennessee Boys will be in agreement of good things prayed for, with the rest of these fine folks.

He hears our prayers and covets them.

Love one another.

That is what our creator wants.

What better way to do that than Pray.

Thanks for keeping us aprised of the situation.

Be sure to get some good rest yourself as well.

Hope he continues to do well. Faster you get him out of hospital, the better off he will be. Take it from me, I'm one of the guys that did those MRI's and other imaging procedures for some 40 years.  god bless.
