First, I wish to thank those who have provided financial support for the VRCC by purchasing a 2012 wall calendar.

Second, I need to let you know that I've gotten myself into a situation.  Because of the way orders came in this year and a flaw in my projections, I may be stuck with several of the VRCC 2012 wall calendars.  Therefore, if you still want a calendar (it likely won't arrive by Christmas) we will sell you one of these that may otherwise not get sold.  If you'll send me an email or PM telling me you're purchasing this calendar as a gift, I'll reduce the charge on your card by $5.00 for each calendar while supplies last.  Be sure to tell me the name on your card when you email me.  If you're paying by check you can simply reduce the amount of your check by $5.00 per calendar.

Just so you know what these calendars mean to the VRCC, they tend to bring in about the equivalent of three or four annual advertisers.

Get your VRCC 2012 Wall Calendar before they're all gone!

Anyone else?  (I may need about forty more.)

Get your VRCC 2012 Wall Calendar before they're all gone!  (Actually once they're all gone you can still get them from Lulu.com, but they'll cost you a little more. )

The picture on the cover of this year's calendar was taken in the parking lot of Roy's Cafe in Amboy , California where Joe Boyd liked to stop for a shake during his rides through the desert.

I may have not been clear.  We've gotten several orders, but only one email (PM).  If you're requesting the discounted price, please send me an email or PM to let me know before we process your order (which is quick).

I'm at Willow.VRCC at gmail dot com  or, of course, I can be reached by PM here.

Sandy, you're good.

Some of you who ordered two may be confused when you receive an envelope with only one calendar in it.  It's an oddity of our postal system that two calendars shipped separately are less expensive than two shipped in one envelope.

If you didn't order a second one and would still like to, now is the time.

Thanks very much to those who have ordered a calendar.

Now if I can just find about thirty more friends I might be able to get back into the good graces of my colleagues.   Smiley

I think we may have aggravated a few people at the post office today.  We sent out a bunch of calendars and they had only one machine available.   We did take a couple of breaks over the 45 minute visit to let the ones lined up behind us do their business.

The good news is when I run out of calendars I'll stop reminding you.   Meanwhile, if you haven't ordered one yet, now is the time.  Smiley

We need our members to purchase about three calendars per day between now and year end to deplete my supply.

I have what I need for today, but if you'd like to help me get a head start on tomorrow I'd be pleased.   Smiley

When we've run out of what I have you can still get them from Lulu.com.  At Lulu.com they'll cost $20.99 plus shipping and the VRCC will get a much smaller part of the total.

Is it dried up yet?

This will be my last ditch effort to rid us of the few calendars we have left.

If you've already ordered a calendar and you want another one or more, while they last I will sell you additional calendar(s) for 1/2 price.  You'll need to go to the order page to place your order.  It will tell the regular price, but for repeat orders I will reduce the charge before we process your card.  That will be $8.99 plus $3.00 for shipping, but only for repeat orders.  Please be careful to use the same name you used on your earlier order so I can recognize it as an additional calendar.

I apologize to those of you that bought multiple calendars at full price.  I realize this deal must seem unfair to you, but at this point I'm just tryng to recoup as much as we can of our cost for the extra inventory.

I want to shut down the order form by year end, so whatever is left by then is doomed for the refuse pile.

When we've run out of what I have you can still get them from Lulu.com.  At Lulu.com they'll cost $20.99 plus shipping.
