Blade,

There are other members of this group that ride Harleys.  I think almost all riding clubs other than Harley accept all bikes.  Most of the clubs I ride with are not brand specific; just full of people that love to ride.

I would be interested in an early morning ride but not this Saturday; I plan on sleeping in so I can stay up late Saturday night.

Thanks Chuck I was not sure if the group would like me showing up on my Harley with the D&D pipes they are a little loud compared to the Valkyrie ,
buy the way I may need some help when I get the Valkyrie back I intend to do some work on the exhaust system .
tech board drill the baffle and cut the Piggy's ,wont make it much louder but give it that Nice tone ,I have the tools and will buy dinner for anyone that wants to help ,I don't drink much so don't have any beer on hand but I could buy some for those that do drink !!!!

I've cut my piggies so you can listen to my bike to hear what that minor mod sounds like.  To me it made the bike sound bad@$$ without raising the volume of the exhaust.  I have had many people of all brands tell me my Valk exhaust sounds cool.  I have a side grinder to cut yours if you need one.  I don’t want my exhaust any louder than that but I have a drill and some bit extensions lying around somewhere if you do.

You may want to read the national VRCC archives and note how many guys want to go back to stock exhaust from heavily modified or aftermarket systems before you hack yours up.  You could also buy a used exhaust system off of eBay that has been hacked already for cheap and keep your system pristine just in case you change your mind

Will you be joining us on Saturday night?

Blade:

We don't mind Harleys coming on our trips. You just have to ride in the back so that when parts fall off they don't mess up our tires  Wink

Just messin' with ya'.  Bring it out on Saturday night and meet some of the members.

Also, anyone can plan a ride and post it to this site.  In fact, both Speedo and I welcome them.

Bob, there is a guy on the VRCC national board that wants to get rid of a new aftermarket exhaust system because he wants to go back to the stock sound level.  Here is the text from the conversation; you could search the board for the riders name and email and ask what he wants for them.  You may be able to sell your stock pipes for more than the aftermarket setup will cost you. ----

"I just got a set of MarkT's installed on my valk,
4" truck stacks, slash cut (they're glass pack pipes) and have the optional removable silencers so you can change the sound when you feel like it.

I'm thinking of going back to stock.
These pipes are super mint.

I'd be willing to sell them for a reasonable price.

Hi Blade,

If you want to hear loud, ride beside or behind my two brothers 6 into 6 straight pipes.  If you like them more than your stockers, I might like your stockers more than my nascars.

Hope to meet and ride with you soon.
