CoolBreeze is legal now. Took her driving test on the Spyder today and got her Motorcycle licenses. She had took the written test about 5 weeks ago. I have already set mine up solo, but kept my trunk just in case.

Don't think you could do a MC test in FLorida on a Spyder. How would you weave the cones? Come to think of it, how can you pass a MC test if you aren't on one?  |

Iowa has different areas to test motor riders in. They have one for up to 750 cc, another for larger starts at 751 cc to current model I think it is they call it.
Then they have areas for Trikes. All sizes. My Chevy Trike won't work in the cone weave, it is too long, I can run it through if they let me run over the cone lips, a buddies wife used my Chevy Trike and the license guy took one look at the Trike and one at her, he said how did that thing get to that point, she said she drove it up there from the other side of the parking lot where I had parked it. He said fire it up, take it back and then look me up. She got her endorsement. Came back the next day and got her motor endorsement. Same guy was working again, he saw her on the bike and walked over, told her to go park the bike and to take her paper to the license desk. He then said, if you can drive that damn over grown rig you were on yesterday, you surely can ride 2 wheels.

In Texas, there is only one test. Doesn't matter if it's a two wheeler or trike. No cones. Just an easy written test followed by a short test drive. (While being followed by the Trooper giving the test.) It hasn't really changed much since I took the test 30+ years ago.

Depends on which state you live in. It wasn't much of a test. They walked outside and watched her go up the road and back. Maybe a 1/4 block  David |

She does very well, but to have a trooper follow her she would have died. David |

Several people told me should do the MSF course. Why, she has no en tension of ever riding a regular motorcycle. The Spyder is a total different beast. David |
