Amanda Zimmer is planning a nice Christmas this year.
In case you don't remember she was the young lady SmokinJoe, Lucky 13, Smooth RIder and I found on the Foot Hills Pkway .
She was in the last stage of Suicide and it did not look good for her.
She is enjoying life and should.
She is very grateful for the guys that found her and all the folks that sent cards, letters, and books.
Continue praying for Miss Amanda as she is really trying very hard to live a good life.
Talked to her today via email and she is doing fine.

i remember that day! i often thought of her, wondering if all is alright, glad things are looking brighter for her!

Thanks for posting this! Like many of the others, I remember the original post well, and wondered often what had happened to Amanda. This is great news. What a wonderful thing all of you that got involved did, rather than just thinking it was not your problem and not getting involved. You can't give better than the gift of life. joe, thanks for "re-posting" those pictures. i remember there was a picture of her in the drivers seat, she was wearing a scarf of the same design and color my own daughter had that same year. it freaked me out so badly that i gave my little girl an extra long hug that morning (she was clueless!)
amanda, if you ever read this, i want you to know, we've all been there. we've all been to that low abis in our lives, anyone that says they haven't is a lier. keep your kin up, there are more sunny days then rainy ones, remember that.
