Saw this on YouTube, can't understand what the guy smoked, but I’m sure he's still feeling the effects.  Although, I do like the engine guard!

I wouldn't call it "Butt Ugly", but it is not my "cup-o-tea" either.
It seems that the customizer was trying to evoke the 1950s land barge theme.

I remember being told that I ruined a Valkyrie by painting mine satin black and removeing chrome and powdercoating parts black. Hey everyones taste is different.

Haven't you given your Valkyrie a touch of your feelings so that it is yours?

From the plate, it looks like he is from across the pond.

It might look butt ugly to you, but it looks just exactly like he wanted it to look like.

Cut the poor guy some slack.    It is gauddy, but the craftsmanship looks good.

I have to agree, its not something I would do but if you looked at the mans face you could see just how proud he was of that motorcycle.  In all reality he put a lot of time, sweat, and money into it.

RJ, last night when i went to bed, i thought to myself; "i shouldn't have written 'butt ugly'".  you're absolutey right, it is something that he put a LOT of talent into, personaly, i wish i could do "body sculpting" like that!

hell, i'm a guy that drilled 100 holes in my saddle bags and trunk for LED's for petes sake!!

i do apologies to the guy.  he does have talents!

Hmm, well definately not my style.  But, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.  Nary a cup holder though.  If it's got fins, it's gotta have cup holders.   Wink

By no means is it butt-ugly. Like it or not it is a piece of art. This man has put a lot of work in this, and it looks like some pretty quality effort. You should appreciate it for what it is. He most likely sees the same thing when he looks at your OEM motorcycle. He marches to the beat of his own drummer, and I for one admire that.
I think its pretty damn cool. He has a lot of neat ideas.  cooldude

I'm so old that I remember the fins and bullet lights on cars.  I like the bike quite well.  Not the pink so much but it looks very sharp.  A lot of work that he can be proud of.

To each his own.  I have often thought of installing '59 Caddy taillights in place of the brake lights on my interstate, but I think he went overboard with the '59 tail fins.  The '60's would look better, IMHO.

It is ugly.  That's only my personal opinion and it doesn't stop me from having an appreciation for the effort that went into its creation.  It's a "custom bike" in the spirit of the theme bikes produced by Orange County Choppers, meant to be seen and not so much ridden.  I happen to be more into the beauty of bikes that are intended for one's riding pleasure.

It is a work of art and as with all art, beauty tends to be in the eye of the beholder.

Interesting that we all know exactly what that means , but it is the only place left that we use a form of the word, behold, in conversation.

As to the Pink & Black Valk/Cad--Personally I think I'd have liked it better in high gloss black AND I think that those "tube-like-cones" (speakers?) would look much better if they were leveled rather than their pointed downward position. Just MHO!

Man alive is the Russian (?) Wing loaded--very kool--Once again I think that hi-gloss black or maybe Burgandy would look great.

I had nothing to do with that. Its different not ugly not beautiful .Its his idea of a custom bike. There a lot of custom cars out there that are ugly .Its all in the eyes of the beholder.

Hey, whatever blows your skirt up.

Few of you may remember this bike, its Peaches and Scream from the old days.  He swore up and down, it wasn't pink, it was peach.  His was the first I ever saw with modified exhaust.
