I can remember when this song came out. I was 12 or 13 years old. I have to say I never seen a picture, let alone a video of her. She has the hippy thing down, and a good looking hippy at that...

I had a flash back on the first. 1969, I was 18 years old, keg party with 15.5 gallons of Hamms beer (total cost was $15 for the keg), in my buddy Scott's fathers hay loft. I was flirting with Julie the younger sister of my former girl friend. What a little hottie!! Good time, bad beer.

That's actually an old blues song written by Willie Dixon. He wrote a number of blues standards that were later adapted by blues rockers such as Led Zeppelin et al.

Half of the British invasion's output was repackaged blues standards. For some reason the limeys appreciated American blues artists more than we did. That's still true actually.

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.
But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent.
Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.
In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.
