Hey Joe,

Havn't had a chance to catch up with you and the gang since Maggie Valley but this one looks like a go, hope to see you at the Pilot Travel Center meeting spot. Would be happy to meet up with any SC riders along the way from the Columbia area, just drop me a note.

Here's hoping the weather holds and everyone ride safe !!!

Will be traveling up I-26 toward Asheville from Columbia. If you are going 85 over to 26 someplace arround the Spartanburg intersection might work. Anybody else heading up I-26 ?

Hey guys, I've been lurking this thread 'cuz I'm runnin' around in the area (Asheville - in my cage  Undecided). Drove up part of the BRP today and found most higher elevations are closed due to snow and ice - Park Service road condition recording said Mt Mitchell also. Phone # is 828-298-0398 if you want to check on Sunday. I'm sure you know some good alternatives though... cooldude

Sounds good, just got in from the last 2010 ride and the gas tank is full and ready to roll. Leaving out 7:30ish so that puts me at exit 5 around 8:30 / 8:45.

Happy New Year to all !!!

Can't make it.

Have a good trip.

Lost one of my Dogs today and really am not in the mood.

Back has been throbbing for 3 weeks and need some down time.

Digging a Grave Today was not fun.

But Rosy was  a good pup and I really loved her.

Still having moments of grief that are most debilitating.

Be safe.

Just back in the garage from a great but slightly soggy KMI ride for 2012.
A big thanks to all and a pleasure to share the wind ( rain and gravel too) with everyone, hope you all make it home safe, look forward to doing it again next year !

Some pix from the closed BRP gate and the great BBQ lunch stop.
