Just watched "The Night Before Christmas" in Blue Ray and find it utterly amazing that these cartoons were produced entirely by hand. That together with creative talents that no longer exist in today's world make these absolute masterpieces. If you haven't seen them in blue Ray, you don't know what your missing.

Tom and Jerry are the gold standard for hand drawn animation IMO. Not only for the quality but they're just FUNNY. I laugh as hard now as I did when I was 6 years old. Both of my daughters love it too.

Absolutely agreed! I look at today's kids' cartoons on TV and I pity them. No comparison to the art of yesteryear.
