Hello to all. I wanted to share a story. I had to sell my black 2001 Valkyrie Interstate to help buy a house a year and a half ago. I have been fortunate enough to be able to afford to get another Interstate. It is a black 1999 with 20k. I test drove a Harley, Venture, Vtx and a couple of others. I confirmed what I already knew and drove 16 hours roundtrip, from Salt Lake City, Utah to Sheridan, Wyoming. I put her in the back of a pickup and brought her home. After being without a Valk for a long time, I feel very blessed this holiday season to be able to rip off 12 second quarter mile blasts with the freshly modded exhaust roaring. I have taken all the kids (15yr girl, 12yr girl, 8yr boy, 4yr girl) on rides in 30 degree weather with the tunes playing. Cold or not, we are lovin it! The wife even approves, I think. Merry Christmas to all and have a safe and prosperous new year as well. Ride safe! cooldude

Congrats on re-aquiring a Valk. As one who also parted ways with my 2001 after it was
totaled out, I also got a second chance 2 yrs ago. I also picked up a 99 I/S. Those 3 yrs without one
were torture.

I, too, played Santa this week.

I drove basically non-stop from Baton Rouge to Midland Tx and back to pick up a 2000 Valkyrie Interstate for my best friend.  That was about 26 hours behind the wheel for me to complete the mission.

I'm trying to post a picture, but all I can get is that stupid red X in the box to appear.

Anyway, the motorcycle is beautiful, it's been well mantained and has low mileage.

Here's to wishing Desert Valk and also my friend Rickey (Little Miller) many safe and happy miles.

There are very few Christmas presents that would top the one you received.  Glad to have you back on two wheels and as you know, there is virtually no end to the "presents" that the Valk will receive in the coming year.  Congratulations...Jim Smiley
