Isn't that a 6 ply sidewall tire made for Taxi's?
Think I read that somewhere.

I'm confused(nothing new), what does it have to do with your trailer hitch?

Specs show Section width (8.2) is the same as a 205/60R/16 GoodYear TTT but an inch shorter.

I have a custom made hitch from the previous owner very tight tolerances. Hard to explain if you can't see what i am talking about.

Probably (due to the size of the stock Dunlop tire) made for the tire on the bike at the time of manufacture.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Myself I'd go with a higher speed rating.

I'd still like to know the ply of that puppy.
I never saw anything in the spec's.
You got a picture of that hitch, one that would tell us what we are dealing with?
How hard would it be to modify the hitch?
