High today is 477 degrees

My wife walked through the living room while getting ready to go to work. The weather woman was announcing today's high temp: 477 degrees. I had to explain that that was the temp on Venus today.
StarTrek opens today so the weather woman is also giving the temps on other planets.

Actually Venus, depending upon its position and ours in our orbits is between 22 light minutes and 144 light minutes from Earth, always less than .000274 light years.
It's a fairly current reading.
Is there anyone in this country who doesn't use that quote about waiting a few minutes and the weather will change? I believe Will Rogers originated that line referring to the weather in Oklahoma.
Speaking of Oklahoma, I think we'll go there.
On our Valkyries.
Where the weather will be much nicer than 477 degrees.
Was that Fahrenheit or Celsius?
