Marcia and I hosted a "Last Ride of the Year" and were lucky enough to have 3 other Valks join us.  Thanks to Mike and Tony, John and Cindy, and Mark for the enjoyable ride. 

We left St. Louis and headed for Fast Eddy's in Alton, IL. 



From there, we went north on the River Road and hit the Brussels Ferry and finally the Golden Eagle Ferry. 



We couldn't have asked for better weather (for the last day of December).  What a way to send the year out.  Cheesy

Not to thread jack, but thought I would add my last ride of the year here.  Got out for a 115 mile ride today.  Crossed the OH River into N Kentucky to enjoy some of the great roads they got over there.  The guy on the ferry said I was the only bike he saw today.  Temps reached 44* and overcast.  Only saw three other cruisers and about 5 crotch rockets.  No HD's though.  Ya'd think they like riding them hot bikes in this weather.
