Generally speaking, public display of affection while in uniform is officially frowned upon for active duty military, even with boys and girls, and married people. I would not walk hand in hand with my wife in uniform in public venues (non-serving members need not comment). I discussed this pic with fellow USAF member Marty a week ago, and he pointed out that returning Navy ships/patrols and send-offs/returns to/from war were pretty much an exception, and I understand it. I'm a guy, and (some) kissing girls are hot, but I can hardly wait to see uniformed men engaging in this behavior.
