Whazzup????

WWW
« on: May 08, 2009, 06:47:05 AM »

I know I am gonna create a lot of fodder from this.  However I DID call the number and looked it up on reverse number look up.  Google earthed the location of this man's home.  From all I can gather this is a REAL letter by a REAL person expressing his OWN angst with our new president.  I am sure he is on some people's list for that.
It expresses it so well I am thinking of copying it and sending a copy myself to my own reps including NObama himself.
Flame on boys!! Angry

             1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
             Washington, DC20500

           Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your administration, sir.  Your conduct on  your recent trip overseas has convinced me   that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of  America collectively or of me personally.  You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world  that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America. You are responsible to the citizens of the United States.  You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.. I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care  about their status in the world.  Sir, what do you think the First  World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe?  Are you brain dead?  What do  you think the Marshall Plan was all about?  Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?  Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country?  Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage.  Do you not understand this?  Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all
Americans.  Our Presient does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia.  You don't show Great Britain, our  best and one of our oldest allies, the respect
they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia.  How dare you, sir!  How dare you! You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey.  You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves.  What's the matter with you?  I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth
of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.  You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie
Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses.  What do you intend to do about them?  Anything?  I seriously doubt it.  What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members - on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus.  I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer.
You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that?  I surely didn't!
Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses..  In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million - not a bad take.   Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.  I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do.  We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.  I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities.  I promise   you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance  to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

  Sincerely,

The American people fall for this scam every 4 years.
There is no difference between political groups, every one is worse than the last.
One day maybe they will vote in a third party and send lifetime politicians packing.

Not a chance as long as they think that they can vote themselves a PAYCHECK and have someone else pay for it.  The general population has no idea how many people are standing around with their hand out for some type of entitlement check.  If they all vote alike, they can elect anyone they want into any office they choose...JTL   Angry

I think the letter rider is being a little tough on Bush...after all, it was Bush who gave the 750 billion in "tarp money" to those scumbags... and then fought restrictions on bonuses because then they wouldn't be able to retain the geniuses who drove them off a cliff.

I recall a Demcrat majority in both houses of Congress when this crap was passed. I don't understand making Bush the fall guy.
The letter writer makes a good statement.
We sit on our collective backsides and let it happen. The America we and our parents grew up in is gone!

I am not sure that this is the appropriate place to hold or expect to have a political discussion (most of us would rather ride than go to a tea party) but I can't help it - this subject is one where all Americans should "draw a hard line".
Obama has the qualifications to run a small diner in Ogden, Utah (no offense, Ogden!).  Anyone who voted for him and sees a rosy future needs to read Orwell's "1984".  Bow to a foreign power...  I personally have never been as offended by ANYTHING any other president has done.  And that's only the tip of the pyramid (sorry).  I, again personally, am making sure my skills are honed and my weapons are hot - I am greatly afraid they will be needed again.
Oh, and I am as tolerant as can be of all religions, as long as they don't use weapons to make me tolerant.  However, I fought for this country, my dad fought, his dad fought, and on and on.  When people hiding behind a religious mask claim they are blowing up civilians because Allah wills, I have no problem letting them see what the business end of an M16 looks like right before it smokes.
It is not my intention to upset anyone on this board; you are my brothers, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.  We’ve got to weather these next four years of this Obamanation.  But for anyone who hates America or Americans, I surely hope you stay the hell out of my country and its business.
God  bless and let’s ride!    cooldude

hmmm...so Bush walking through the gardens holding hands with the Saudi King was A-OK?  Well, different strokes for different folks.  How about bowing when you meet an Asian dignitary? I believe that is a traditional greeting there and is done by ALL.

If bowing is the most offensive thing you think a president has ever done you're lucky. Personally, the waste and the insanity of Nam and Iraq are damn offensive to me. But again, different strokes....

Yep, one great thing about America - no one will kick down your door at 2 ayam just cuz you posted your thoughts on the YRCC boards...  Or that you disagree with someone who may feel Obama is Allah's gift to mankind, or that he's the devil incarnate.   Evil angel

Hi Connie!  How the heck are you?  I've been "lurking" on the boards since 2000, but I rarely post.  Don't know what got into me this time...   Evil
I'm in the Philippines doing some training for my company this year.  Started out as 6 months, but now it's looking like a year...  I hope to be home before the next New Yars Day ride though, and I'd love to join the AZ gang again - if y'all are still having that ride by then!  I'll have to do a wash-and-wax on my 2000 BLACK IS (that's the fasteste color, right?) by then, I'm sure.
Kisses and manly handshakes all around to you and yours.  And oh yeah - LET'S RIDE!!!   cooldude

Personally I don't care if Obama is a well educated, caring family man. I think he is the wrong guy for the job. The author of this letter said nothing about his education or his family.  But like a tipical liberal if someone does not agree with you that makes them an asshole. What does that make you?  America is the most powerful nation in the world. PERIOD. Our leaders should NOT bow to anyone. And another thing, I could give a crap less what other countries think of the US. These are the same countries that say how bad America is one day and then want our help the next. We don't owe anybody anything......Like the bumper sticker says. " I will keep my money my guns and  my freedom. You can keep the CHANGE".

Good post 2tone. Thank you! Liberals like Eagle seem never to be able to discuss any subject on merit. If the subject content is contrary to their beliefs, they almost always resort to name calling, coupled with anger and hatefulness. In Eagle's particular case I believe he may be projecting his own short comings in his response.
