Is anyone using 75/140 synthetic?  Would the rear end run cooler with it?

Most all reports dealing with synthetic lubricants report cooler running temperatures due to the oil.

So you ought to see a change in operating temperature.

To what extent remains to be observed in your particular application.

your better choice is 75W90....the one you mentioned is not the recommended weight (80W) and is a bit too heavy for this application.
