Magna Braid & Magna Clamps

Has anyone used this s/s system to cover the coolant pipe going from the rad to the block, eliminating the "slinky"?  If so, is the 2" hose with the 1 1/2" to 2" clamps the ones to use?

I put the chrome wire one from a I-S years ago.    Still looks good and not hard to clean.
