The Twilight Zone

« on: January 07, 2012, 05:26:03 AM »

I have never been to a funeral where the WBC will be here. PFC. Justin Whitmire will be laid to rest today and only 20 years old (looks 15 ) and was just in Afganastan 18 days. I ride with his two uncles that is in our MC. It is really sad.

Anyway, I've heard stories from this forum and others about the WBC. I googled them and can't believe how much hate and venom they spew! They are not any "baptist" I know, muchless Christian! They are a cult from hell! Anyway, I better stop know bc my blood is starting to boil and is about time to break out my scoot. I know not to carry my weapon...I don't trust myself! Vets die just to give the @#@## the very right to protest them!!  See anything wrong with that picture? Burning the American flag is one thing and even someone spitting in your face, but to protest the way they do is repulsive!!

The PGR will be there and I hope all bikers around the upstate can join in to block them.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with WBC and can give some insight.  Wink

The PGR will know what to do, just follow thier lead.  If there are any legion riders there, they know how to handle it too.  WBC are all going to hell anyway.  Hoser  Angry

If it's any consolation, they SAY they're going to far more funerals/events than they actually show up to, so there's a good chance they'll be a no show...

Here's to hoping they skip this one, but if not, the PGR knows how to best isolate and separate them if it's necessary.

If they do show up... the PGR will shield the family as best they can from these idiots.  So far, they have been a no show to any that we've had in Mass.

For what it's worth, the Westboro Baptist Church is not associated with any Baptist convention or any other Christian organization for that matter.  The "church" consists of fewer than 50 members, almost all of which are members of Fred Phelps' family.  Phelps is a disbarred attorney and has had his family members schooled in the law.  The Phelps Law firm is still active in Topeka with several Phelps family members actively practicing law.

They have received monetary awards in civil lawsuits and seem to relish the chance for someone to violate their legal rights.

They were at the first PGR mission I ever attended.  About 500 bikers showed up to shield the family.
Cops made them stand so far away, I don't the family ever saw them.

Thank you for doing the right thing, showing our soldiers respect.

Of course, this is the entire reason for their existence.  What better way to piss people off than to protest soldier's funerals and defame the soldier, his family, the County, and God.  They prefer cops, municipalities and govt agencies to violate their rights than individuals, because of the deeper pockets.

I would contribute to a low level napalm of their entire compound when they are all home, but can't find where to contribute.

Thanks guys for all the help and insight. It was a very humbling experience and was an honor and privilege to pay my final respects to this young fallen soldier. I believe I'll join the PGR.

This was the biggest funeral I've ever attended and the news reported it was the largest funeral in SC history but don't know about that- anyway it was  massive, in fact the WBC couldn't even get close. One news agency reports they didn't know if they were there but 2 other news agencies said there were but couldn't even get close! I didn't see any and glad I didn't.

There were around 2,000 bikes and thousands of people lined up for 3.5 miles! One helicopter news crew said they couldn't capture it all with their eye in the sky.  Here are a few.

BTW, I just seen ONE Valk out of a sea, mostly all Harleys, of motorcycles!!  Was it anyone on the board?
